Some suspected members of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria were on Thursday arraigned in the Magistrate Court in Wuse Zone 2, Wuse Zone 6 and Life Camp.
This is coming after the police on Tuesday said two of its officers were shot by suspected members of the the group.
Recall that protest by the Shiites at the National Assembly turned violent on Tuesday as the group stormed the National Assembly complex to protest and demand the release of their leader, Ibrahim El-Zakzaky, who has been detained by the government since December 2015.
Over 340 Shiites were killed by the army in December 2015 after the army accused the Islamic sect of blocking a road.
